The Pharos Arts
Foundation opens the 2010 Concert and Recital Series
with a recital by the phenomenal young pianist,
Yevgeny Sudbin, hailed 'as potentially one of the
greatest pianists of the 21st century' (The Daily
Telegraph). The recital will take place on Sunday 24
January 2010, at the Shoe Factory, 8.30pm, and the
programme will comprise works by Haydn, Chopin,
Liszt and Ravel.

The Pharos Arts Foundation is proud to present a
concert with soloists of the legendary Ensemble
intercontemporain, an ensemble created by Pierre
Boulez thirty-four years ago and which nowadays, is
considered one of the world's finest contemporary
music groups.The concert will take place at PASYDY
Auditorium, on Friday 26 February 2010, 8.30pm, and
will include works by Pierre Boulez, Gérard Grisey,
Olivier Messiaën, Gérard Pesson, Tristan Murail, as
well as a world-premiere by Cypriot composer, Vassos
Nicolaou.

the Pharos Arts Foundation continues its Cyprus
Artists Series with a recital by London-born,
Cypriot pianist Yiannis Georgiou. The recital will
take place at the Foundation's recital hall, The
Shoe Shoe Factory, on Friday 19 March 2010, 8.30pm,
and will comprise an impressive array of works by
Bach, Brahms, Chopin, Prokofiev and Rachmaninov.
