Brazilian Culture Month For the fourth consecutive year, the Pharos Trust presents the Brazilian Culture Month, a series of events dedicated to the arts and culture of Brazil. These events, organised in collaboration with the Brazilian Embassy in Cyprus, showcase aspects of Brazilian culture through art, music, dance, films, books and lectures, and they have become a very popular part of the Pharos Trust’s annual programme. Events will take place throughout the month of October at various Nicosia venues and include Concert with Brazilian pianist Arnaldo Cohen, a film festival, exhibition by contemporary Brazilian artist Anna Maria Maiolino, Book launch of the work of Angela Detanico and Rafael Lain following their exhibition in Cyprus in October 2006, a Brazilian book month.
