Cello and piano recital

The Pharos Trust organized a cello and piano recital with these two exceptional young musicians from London. Alexander Chaushian is the cellist of the Kempf Trio, one of Europe's most exciting ensembles, and is considered one of the most brilliant cellists of his generation. He has studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Alexander Chaushian has won numerous international competitions and awards. He has performed with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande among others. He has toured extensively as a soloist with several orchestras appearing in Armenia, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, Israel, Venezuela, Canada and the United States. Anna Saradjian was recognized as a child prodigy at an early age. She studied at the Juilliard School in New York and Royal Academy of Music in London. She gave her New York debut at Carnegie Hall in 1998, and since then has appeared with solo and chamber performances in Russia, the United States and Great Britain. Alexander Chaushian and Anna Saradjian recital in Cyprus included works by Bach, Beethoven, Khudoian and Shostakovich.
