Programme includes works by Haydn, Britten and Beethoven

The Pharos Trust hosted the Chilingirian Quartet's 25th anniversary in May 1997 and will be hosting them again this year, on the occasion of the Quartet's 30th anniversary and the 25th anniversary since the death of Benjamin Britten. Since the ensemble's debut in London in 1971, the Chilingirian Quartet has performed in major concert halls throughout the world and has become one of the world's most established, celebrated and acclaimed ensembles. The Quartet gives concerts every season at the Queen Elizabeth and Wigmore Halls , and has received the Royal Philharmonic Society's Chamber Ensemble Award.
