The Pharos Trust has invited 16 musicians for all parts of the world to come to Cyprus to work, rehearse and perform together from 22 to 30 May. All of these artists are in their early twenties, have won numerous international musical competitions and have been distinguished worldwide as rising stars. The cellist Alex Chaushian, who came to Cyprus last year and gave a wonderful performance, shall be among them, Two Cypriot musicians, Spiros Pisinos and Nikos Pittas shall also be joining the Ensemble. Levon Chilingirian, will be here to lead the group on this occasion. It is hoped that this Cyprus-originated group will be the Ensemble-in-Residence of the Pharos Trust and will perform regularly in Cyprus and elsewhere in the region. These artists will be part of the newly formed "Pharos Trust Soloists Ensemble"
