An exhibition of recent works by one of Armenia's leading contemporary artists. Sarkis Hamalbashian was born in Gumri, Armenia, and lives and works in the capital Yerevan. He has had successful solo exhibitions in London, Basel, Nicosia and Paris and has participated in group exhibitions in Cyprus. Russia, Germany, Finland and the U.S Pharos Publishers has recently produced a major new monograph of his work with a critical essay by Jane Burton, Curator of Interpretation at Tate Modern, London, The book is available through the Pharos Trust.
